I’m just trying to do my job

Don’t wanna handcuff but I will

Be a dad not just a cop

Friend to anyone

Up at dawn bright and hungry

I’m all business and some jokes

Yeh, I’m dressed ready for work

From my neck down to my shoes

I don’t do it to chase people

I can always catch up

I don’t do it for the glory

I just wanna keep us safe

Keeping the school safe’s my responsibility

Yeh, I’m real good at racing people

Being all that I can be

And I can’t call in sick on Saturdays

When the weekends been too strong

I just work straight through the days

And sometimes all stressed up

You can bet that I’ll laugh

When the good jokes come at my face

Hey, I’m fast, hey I’m funny

Hey I melt in the rain

And I will always do my job

No matter what the price

I’ve counted up the doughnuts

I know the calories

Oh, and you don’t want me singing to you

But if singing’s asked of me

I’ll try my best to sing

‘Cause singing don’t come easy

I’m a Concord Protector, a Friend

Beside my family and friends

I will proudly lend a hand

When liberty’s in jeopardy

I will always do what’s right

I’m out here in the hallways

keeping peace today

Concord Protector, a Friend

yeh, a Concord Protector, a Friend

Beside my family and friends

I will proudly lend a hand

When liberty’s in jeopardy

I will always do what’s right

I’m out here in the hallways

keeping peace today

Concord Protector, I’m a Friend, a Friend

A Friend

A Concord Protector
