Today, we shall all learn of the story of the Nisse.

The Nisse was a creature in Nordic folklore which had the appearance of an average garden gnome, with a red hat, a lovely beard, and a height wich never exceeded 3 feet.

It was a creature which would assist in farmlife, and when treated well was a rather friendly creature.

However, it was incredibly short tempered, and was incredibly strong, despite it's stature. If offended, at the best, you'd be under the radar for a series of pranks as a result of you doing things such as urinating on the barn, or abusing the livestock, or spilling things on the ground and in the house.

At the worst, such as, if you don't give the Nisse it's share for Christmas, it would maim or slaughter your livestock, and place a disease on the house's residents.
